Catching UP

We're Back! Time to catch up on the last couple months. First: Halloween

Drew was a werewolf, Amber was a kitty, and Summer was a dragon (but you will have to take my word for the last one because I didn't get a picture of her- what a LOSER mom!)

Thanksgiving was so great. It is always nice to see family again. Tami was even able to get her entire family together. My kids loved seeing their cousins (even some new babies they had never seen before)

Love those big brown eyes! Drew & Dylan

The Newly engaged couple! Karleigh and Jake

We are lucky to live close to both our families, so on the way home we stopped by the Osborns and visited them too!

Off Track Fun

Drew is in year round school which means he goes 9 weeks on and 3 weeks off all year long. He is currently off-track. Since the weather has been beautiful, we have been trying to fill up the days with some outdoor activities. We have been exploring some of the hiking trails around our house. Drew and our dog, Stanley, have really loved this. The first hike we went on was to the mountain just east of our house that had a fire. You can see the burnt trees in the background. It was pretty desolate looking.

We also spent a day at the outdoor dinosaur park in Ogden. We brought his friend, Jaxon, with us. We brought a picnic lunch and the boys had a great time climbing on everything they could.

Drew has also started playing flag football. It is hilarous to watch. This (blurry) picture is of his touchdown run. That's him leading the pack in a yellow shirt.

Fire to Rain

We went from hot and fire to cold and rain. It rained so hard that they were worried we would have flooding from the charred mountain. The residents along the foothills were ready with their sandbags but luckily didn't need them. The kids had a great time in the rain though.

The neighbors were out on their porch while all the kids played in the rain so Drew,of course, had to put on a show for them.
